Bar With Attitude
The Pentagon Restaurant is within the White House Grill and Oval Office Bistro family. The client requested a bar designed to have ample wine, spirits, menu and glassware storage. It was requested to have a rustic yet unique appearance that would flow with the existing sitting bar. The final designed used knotty alder and glazed hand carved accents.
Every Detail
Details are what makes this project one of a kind. I assisted the cabinet makers with the detailing process. Every gash, worm hole, and bolt imprint was created individually. The black glaze shading I personally applied by hand.
Statement
As with most restaurants, the bar is a social hub. This particular bar was designed to allow easy access to menus, wine, glassware and spirits, as well as providing a statement piece for customers to admire during their visit.
