Casa Revival Project

This particular project is called Casa Revival to reflect the design approach. A beautiful home, nestled in the trees and a lake view we wanted to work with the environment, not against it. The home had great bones, just needed a little lift. The appliances, windows, and the gorgeous Italian travertine flooring needed to stay as is, so we had to get a little creative. The number one complaint the client had about the space was how dark it was. Everything felt suffocating. So we added a wall to the back of the range to provide a barrier to the office and kitchen. Then all the walls around the stairs and dining area were removed to open the space up and provide a wide view of the lake. Keeping the integrity of the home’s location, we leaned into organic materials as much as possible. Handmade zellige tile, mahogany shelves, wooden cabinet pulls, copper quartz veining and our favorite leather cradled lighting. The end result being a bright, organic, airy sanctuary for this family to spend time together.
